What you can expect from Begoma in 2025

What themes will dominate 2025 for Begoma? We spoke with the Managing Director, Henrik Malmberg, and asked him to give us some teasers of what to expect from the coming year.

Henrik Malmberg has previously done his end of year review of 2024. Summarizing an exciting year for Begoma and highlighting important areas that have been of special interest, throughout the year.

Now, he takes aim for the future – and looks toward 2025. What can we expect from Begoma?

During 2024, Begoma has been busy, working on identifying and mapping out our own strategy for sustainability. In 2025, we will take some of the first concrete steps, turning the strategy into action.

One of these steps include testing transportation and logistics solutions in Europe with electric trucks and trailers. An exciting time for us and the sector as a whole.

– Their main purpose is to see if this means of transport is viable on the European market. The consequences of these tests may lead to bigger things further down the road. As of now, our focus is on the excitement of actually doing these tests, he says.

Another area of focus for 2025 is maintaining the pace in future proofing the company. We have already restructured employee responsibilities for middle management, adopted a new system for company finances and launched the Begoma Academy – our own platform for employee training.

In 2025 this work continues, with a steadfast focus.

– We are growing each year, not only in terms of revenue. Our workforce continues to grow together with us, in their roles and as employees. As a managing director, it is very rewarding to see.

Speaking of growing – Begoma will of course continue to welcome trainees into our company. Henrik Malmberg says that he views it as a responsibility and that he is happy to see new stars rise within Begoma.

– We will continue to take this responsibility, without a doubt. I consider it an important part of securing our future growth and the regeneration of a skilled workforce.
