Expertise in international maritime transport

For overseas shipments by sea, the Bill of Lading (BL) is a key component of the transport process. Begoma ensures that all BLs are issued and handled correctly, safeguarding the shipment and facilitating secure handover of ownership. As a legally binding document, the BL serves as:

Typically, only 20 and 40 foot containers are allowed, because they meet all necessary ISO standards. For inter European and domestic freight in Europe, more flexibility is oftentimes allowed.

In many cases, goods may fall under EU import quota systems, which allow a limited quantity of specific products to be imported with reduced or zero tariffs. We assist clients in:
