Meet Begoma’s office in Kyiv, Ukraine
Begoma has offices in several locations across Europe, and since January this year, the company has also been present in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. With a local and physical presence, Begoma can offer customers the best possible service and tailor-made transport solutions. This is also the case in Ukraine – or perhaps especially in Ukraine – given the difficult situation the country finds itself in. With a local office in Kyiv, Begoma hopes to support domestic industry by shortening lead times and offering continuous road and rail transport at competitive prices, both within Ukraine and to and from the country.
This is precisely why Begoma’s local presence in Kyiv is so important. With an office on site, the company can build up a network of personal contacts, which in turn enables better service and strengthens Begoma’s presence in the country. It also facilitates tailor-made solutions adapted to local conditions.
Boris Khruslov emphasises that it is crucial for foreign companies to show confidence in Ukraine by establishing and developing their operations here. According to him, this is exactly what the country needs right now. In the longer term, it will also play a key role in the reconstruction once the war is over.
What we offer
Currently, Begoma’s office in Kyiv offers road and rail transport, both domestically and internationally. Since the start of the war, sea and air transport have been completely shut down. To deal with the many challenges facing Ukraine – a severely damaged economy, destroyed infrastructure, ongoing bombing and large population movements – a flexible and solution-oriented approach is required. We are delighted to have Boris Khruslov on the team. With his extensive experience in the logistics industry and his ability to engage and find flexible solutions, Begoma hopes to be an important transport partner in Ukraine.
Boris Khruslov is currently working on establishing Begoma’s office in Kyiv and is spending a lot of time contacting new customers and other transport companies. To strengthen the office, we will soon be recruiting a freight forwarder who, together with Boris, can further develop the business and create effective transport solutions for our customers in the area.
